How cool would it be to be blind and be on a surfboard, waiting to capture that big wave? Then to ride that wild water towards the beach. Well, In episode 48 we chat with Larry Graff from California USA about surfing for the blind.
For over 20 years Swami’s Surfing Association has been running programs to support vision impaired and blind people to be involved with surfing.
Larry talks about the methods required to learn how to surf without sight and outlines why this is a great sport for people with either low or no vision.
I also include some motivational quotations.
